Terms The property known as The Old Olive Mill ("the Property") which term shall include the garden and swimming pool, is offered for rental subject to prior written confirmation by Mr. Stephen Bennett ("the Owner") to the renter ("the Client").

To reserve the Property, the Client shall forward to the Owner a 25% deposit of the total rent due, or such other sum that may be agreed, following receipt of which the Owner will send an e-mail, or letter, of confirmation. The balance of the rent payable shall be made not less than 10 weeks before the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due dates, the Owner reserves the right to give notice in writing to the Client that the reservation is cancelled. Reservations made within 8 weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.

The Owner shall not be liable to the Client for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services, including electricity and/or water, internet services and the like, nor in respect of any failure of equipment, plant, machinery or appliance in or serving the Property, nor for any loss, damage or injury which is the result of matters beyond the control of the Owner, nor for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the Client if the Property is destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period by fire, earthquake or other event and in any such event, the Owner shall, within 21 days of notification to the Client, refund to the Client all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period.

The Client undertakes to provide full and responsible supervision of young children at all times, particularly in and around the Swimming Pool.

The malfunction of any item of plant or equipment serving the Property shall be immediately reported to the Owner's Representative, and any such defect or breakdown shall be repaired and/or replaced by the Owner as soon as is practically possible.

This contract shall be governed by English law.
